Emily Tanner, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Emily K. Tanner has been a friend of felines since she was very young, growing up around cats. She received her Bachelor’s degree in microbiology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. She knew that working with cats was her calling, bringing her to join the Purrfect Care team. Dr. Tanner currently has a grey tabby named Periwinkle that she rescued during vet school. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is partnering with clients to help their cats lead happier, healthier lives, and strengthening their human-animal bond.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys cooking and baking, going to musicals, and gardening.
